Watch William Nylander’s lethal snipe to put the Leafs ahead at 2-1.

Toronto Maple Leafs forward William Nylander has been named the NHL’s rookie of the month for March.

The 20-year-old scored four goals and ten assists as part of a 12-game point streak that was snapped in Thursday night’s victory against the Nashville Predators.

Nylander has put together a terrific season for the Leafs and has been the team’s top scorer on the power-play. His 25 points with the extra-man lead the team and he’s currently tied with Mitch Marner for second in overall team scoring with 58 points.

The former first-round pick also took home rookie of the month honours in October.
