Tampa Bay Lightning goaltender Andrei Vasilevskiy is expected to miss four to six weeks, the team announced on Friday.

Vasilevskiy suffered a left foot fracture during practice on Wednesday.

Vasilevskiy, 24, finished third in Vezina Trophy voting last season and is already putting together another solid campaign this year. In 13 starts this season he has a 9-3-1 record with a .927 save percentage and 2.27 goals-against average. The Lightning currently sit in first place in the Eastern Conference with a 12-5-1 record and 25 points.

With Vasilevskiy sidelined, the majority of the Lightning’s starts will go to 26-year-old Louis Domingue. In five starts this season, Domingue has a 3-2-0 record with a .887 save percentage and 3.43 goals-against average.
