The Tampa Bay Lightning have signed defenceman Luke Schenn to a one-year, $700,000 deal, the club announced Monday.

Schenn, 29, split the 2018-19 season between the Anaheim Ducks and Vancouver Canucks. The Saskatoon native was placed on waivers by the Ducks in November before being dealt to Vancouver for Michael Del Zotto in January.

With the Canucks, Schenn played 18 games while recording two assists and nine penalty minutes.
