Tampa Bay Lightning defenceman Erik Cernak will have a hearing with NHL Player Safety on Tuesday after he elbowed Buffalo Sabres defenceman Rasmus Dahlin during Monday’s game.
Dahlin exited the game late in the second period and did not return after the hit.
Sabres coach Ralph Krueger said Dahlin suffered a concussion during the game.
Krueger said it’s a concussion for Dahlin. He chose his words carefully to describe his thoughts. Clear they’re unhappy about the play but said it’s in the league’s hands.
