The Toronto Maple Leafs have made David Clarkson a healthy scratch for their game against the Edmonton Oilers on Saturday.

Clarkson has never been a healthy scratch with the Leafs since signing his 7-year, $36.75 million contract, but has missed time as a result of injuries.

The 30-year-old forward has 10 goals and 15 points in 53 games this season with the Leafs.
