Toronto Maple Leafs forward Trevor Moore will be unavailable on Monday for the game against the Carolina Hurricanes, the team announced.
No further information was made available, but Moore had been dealing with a shoulder injury since mid-November before returning to the Leafs’ lineup against the Detroit Red Wings on Saturday. He played almost 10 minutes after being activated from IR. The Maple Leafs say they will provide an update on his status following the game.
Moore’s return to the lineup was delayed when he was banged up on a hit during practice last Monday.
It is not known if Moore’s absence is related to that practice incident.
In a corresponding move, the Maple Leafs recalled Jeremy Bracco from their AHL affiliate, the Toronto Marlies.
The team did not announce whether or not Bracco would suit up against the Hurricanes.
In 22 games this season, Moore has three goals and two assists.
