Maple Leafs goalie Karri Ramo shows off new Edgar Allan Poe mask

Karri Ramo has been a Toronto Maple Leaf for just over 24 hours but he’s already got a stylish new mask.

EYECANDYAIR, which does custom goalie mask airbrushing, sent a tweet on Wednesday that features Ramo’s new headwear.

The mask is themed around American poet Edgar Allan Poe, something Ramo has done a few times before, and features some ravens and Poe himself. Watch the video until the end, because it shows off the cool top of the mask, which has a skull with two holes where eyes would be.

Ramo decorated his mask with Maple Leafs blue and white while also featuring the Canadian and Finnish flags.

The 30-year-old had been recovering from a torn ACL with Toronto and signed a professional tryout Tuesday after Jhonas Enroth cleared waivers.

Ramo was in the AHL Marlies’ net Wednesday night in their game against the Utica Comets.
