Toronto Maple Leafs goalie Joseph Woll will miss the Traverse City Prospect tournament because of a broken finger, the team announced Thursday.

In a corresponding move, the Leafs added defenceman Kalle Loponen to their roster for the event that runs from Sept. 6 to Sept. 10 in Traverse City, Mich.

Toronto signed the 21-year-old goalie from Dardenne Prairie, Mo., to a three-year entry-level contract in March.

Woll was selected by the Maple Leafs with the 62nd overall pick in the 2016 NHL Draft.

He recorded a 13-21-3 record and .919 save percentage in 37 games with Boston College last season.
