The Toronto Maple Leafs have signed defenceman Jordan Subban to a one-year, two-way contract worth $650,000.

Originally draft by the Vancouver Canucks in 2013, Subban was traded to the Los Angeles Kings last season.

Despite having been apart of two NHL organizations already, the 23-year-old has yet to play an NHL regular-season game, having spent his entire professional career in the AHL, thus far.

In 36 games with the Ontario Reign last season, Subban had four goals, eight points and 53 points.
