Toronto Maple Leafs forward Trevor Moore is out indefinitely with a concussion, the team announced Friday.

Moore was placed on injured reserve after sustaining a shoulder injury in the first period of a Nov. 15 game against the Boston Bruins. He was expected to return to the Leafs’ lineup in mid-December, but he took a hit on Dec. 16 in practice that resulted in a setback.

He returned to Toronto’s lineup on Dec. 21, when he played almost 10 minutes against the Detroit Red Wings. The 24-year-old has posted three goals and five points in 22 games so far this season.

Earlier today, the Maple Leafs recalled defenceman Martin Marincin and forward Adam Brooks from the Toronto Marlies.
