Marc-Edouard Vlasic takes over Hometown Hockey

Marc-Édouard Vlasic guests on HC at Noon to talk about where winning the World Cup of Hockey ranks in his career, the emotions during the clinching game, and the challenge Team Europe provided.

San Jose Sharks defenceman Marc-Edouard Vlasic has seen a lot in his 10-plus year NHL career. He’s been a 20-minutes-per-night defenceman since breaking into the league as a 19-year old, won gold for Canada at the Olympics and World Cup of Hockey, and made a trip to the Stanley Cup Final last season.

On Friday afternoon Vlasic lent us a bit of his time and took to our Hometown Hockey twitter account to answer questions about his hockey career, favourite players, and what he really thinks about pickles.

OK, OK, those are all great questions about his career, but what people really want to know about Vlasic is how he likes his pickles.

Not the tastiest explanation we’ve ever heard.
