Mathieu Perreault not in Jets lineup for Game 2 vs. Wild

Mathieu Perreault would head to the locker room and not return with an upper body injury.

Forward Mathieu Perreault is not in the lineup for the Winnipeg Jets for Game 2 of the team’s opening round series against the Minnesota Wild.

Rookie Jack Roslovic will take Perreault’s place in the lineup.

Perreault suffered an injury in Game 1 and didn’t finish the game. Head coach Paul Maurice had previously listed Perreault as a game-time decision for Game 2, saying the 30-year-old had suffered an upper-body injury.

Perreault had 17 goals and 39 points in 70 regular season games with the Jets. Roslovic had had five goals and 14 points in 31 games.
