What’s old is new again and the New Jersey Devils‘ new jersey will resemble their old threads.

Confused? It’s rather simple. The Devils unveiled an alternate “Heritage” uniform Tuesday that will be used at various times throughout the 2018-19 season.

The team is reverting to its red, white and green look that it had when the team first entered the NHL in 1982.

The Devils haven’t worn green on their everyday uniforms since 1992 but the look has been revered by hockey fans throughout the decades and a couple current Devils players have already posted positive reviews.

These uniforms will be worn by the Devils four times at home this upcoming season. The games in which the Devils will wear their new digs will be announced at a later date, according to the team.
