The Edmonton Oilers have traded for goaltending prospect Hayden Hawkey from the Montreal Canadiens, in exchange for a fifth-round draft pick in 2019.

Hawkey, aside from having the perfect last name, has spent the past three seasons with Providence College.

The 23-year-old posted a .919 save percentage and 2.04 goals-against average in 40 games with the Friars in 2017-18.

He was selected in the sixth round of the 2014 NHL Draft by the Canadiens, 177th overall.
