Oilers activate Eric Gryba from injured reserve

EDMONTON — The Edmonton Oilers have activated defenceman Eric Gryba from injured reserve.

Gryba, 28, has appeared in 14 games with the Oilers this season, registering 14 penalty minutes.

The six-foot-four, 228-pound blue-liner has 35 points (five goals, 30 assists) and 276 penalty minutes over 232 career NHL games with Ottawa and Edmonton.

The Oilers also assigned defenceman Dillon Simpson to the American Hockey League’s Bakersfield Condors.
