Oilers’ Brodziak expected to miss season with back issues

Edmonton Oilers centre Kyle Brodziak is expected to land on the long-term injured reserve and miss the upcoming season with back issues, according to a Sportsnet’s Marc Spector.

Brodziak, 35, is halfway through a two-year, $2.3-million contract with the Oilers. The former seventh-round pick has played in 917 games across 14 seasons.
