Oilers’ Eberle out 4-6 weeks with shoulder injury

Oilers forward Jordan Eberle talks about the frustration of the shoulder injury that has him sidelined 4-6 weeks, but says at least there’s a brightside.

Edmonton Oilers winger Jordan Eberle will be out of the lineup for the next four to six weeks with a shoulder injury, the club announced Wednesday.

Eberle left the Oilers’ pre-season game versus the Arizona Coyotes following a first period collision with the boards behind the Coyotes’ net.

The 24-year-old totalled 24 goals and 63 points in 81 games last season to lead the Oilers in scoring.
