Oilers sign Alex Chiasson to professional tryout

Forward Alex Chiasson has been signed to a professional tryout by the Edmonton Oilers.

Chiasson spent the past season with the Washington Capitals, scoring nine goals and nine assists in 61 games.

The 27-year-old has also spent time in Calgary, Ottawa, and Dallas during his 381-game NHL career.

He has 59 goals and 124 points in 381 career NHL games.
