Oilers sign forward Alex Chiasson to one-year contract

The Edmonton Oilers have signed forward Alex Chiasson to a one-year contract after the veteran appeared in training camp on a professional tryout contract.

Chiasson, 28, won the Stanley Cup with the Washington Capitals last season and has also played for the Dallas Stars, Ottawa Senators and Calgary Flames.

In 381 career games he has 59 goals and 124 points.
