Oilers sign Tyler Vesel to 1-year contract

The Edmonton Oilers have signed forward Tyler Vesel to a one-year contract.

Vesel had 11 goals and 32 points in 36 games while captaining the University of Nebraska-Omaha Lancers this past season.

He then joined the AHL’s Bakersfield Condors where he put up three goals and six points in 11 games.

The 24-year-old was a sixth-round pick of the Oilers in 2014.
