EDMONTON — The Edmonton Oilers activated goaltender Ben Scrivens off injured reserve Wednesday while placing goalie Viktor Fasth on the injured list.

Fasth suffered a knee injury in Edmonton’s 5-4 shootout loss Monday in Winnipeg.

He got twisted around trying to stop Blake Wheeler’s goal in the first round of the shootout.

Richard Bachman came in to face the final two Winnipeg shooters.

Scrivens hasn’t played since injuring his hamstring late in Edmonton’s 2-1 road win over New Jersey on Feb. 9.

Scrivens is 10-17-7 with a 2.99 goals-against average and .895 save percentage in 38 appearances with the Oilers this season.

Fasth is 6-15-3 with a 3.41 GAA and a save percentage of .888 over 26 games.
