Ondrej Pavelec leaves game after collision with Shane Doan

Watch as Coyotes’ Shane Doan skates full speed over Jets’ Ondrej Pavelec.

Winnipeg Jets goalie Ondrej Pavelec left Saturday’s game against the Arizona Coyotes with a lower-body injury.

Pavelec was hurt after a collision with Coyotes forward Shane Doan.

With just under five minutes left in the second period, Doan came down the right wing while pressured by Jets defenceman Mark Stuart.

Stuart shoved Doan who went right into Pavelec, knocking the 28-year-old into the net.

Pavelec remained in the game and finished the period, but backup Michael Hutchinson replaced him for the third.
