Paajarvi signs one-year deal with Blues

The St. Louis Blues and Magnus Paajarvi have agreed to terms on a one-year contract worth $700,000, the team announced Tuesday.

Paajarvi appeared in 48 games with the Blues in 2015-16 and totalled three goals and nine points. The 25-year-old added one assist in three post-season games.

The Edmonton Oilers selected Paajarvi in the first round (10th overall) at the 2009 NHL Draft.

Paajarvi has registered 35 goals and 80 points in 276 career games.
