The Florida Panthers have agreed to a three-year, entry-level contract with forward Cole Schwindt.

Schwindt, 18, led the OHL’s Mississauga Steelheads in scoring this season with 71 points in 57 games. He was originally a third-round pick by the Panthers in 2019.

“Cole is a talented and responsible two-way player who had an excellent season playing a key role with Mississauga,” said Panthers general manager Dale Tallon in a statement. “He possesses great versatility, size and character and we are excited about his continued development with the Panthers.”
