The Florida Panthers have signed goaltender Philippe Desrosiers to a one-year, two-way contract, the team announced Wednesday.

Desrosiers, 23, played 23 games with the AHL’s Texas Stars last season, earning an 8-11-1 record, a .910 save percentage, one shutout and a 2.54 goals-against average.
He also appeared in six regular season games with the ECHL’s Idaho Steelheads last season, posting a 2-3-1 record.
In total, Desrosiers has appeared in 43 career AHL games, owning a 17-18-1 record, .909 save percentage, two shutouts and a 2.59 goals-against average.
The Saint-Hyacinthe, Que., native was originally selected by the Dallas Stars in the second round of the 2013 NHL Draft, 54th overall.
