Dallas Stars forward Patrick Sharp is expected to make his long-awaited return to the lineup on Saturday against the Edmonton Oilers, as per head coach Lindy Ruff.
The 34-year-old has been out since Oct. 20th with a concussion, which he suffered on a hit from Los Angeles Kings defenceman Brayden McNabb, causing him to sit out the last 14 games.
Sharp’s return should help bolster the Stars offence, which has already seen forwards Jason Spezza and Cody Eakin return from injury this week as well.
Sharp has just one assist in four games this season, but had 55 points (20 goals, 35 assists) in 76 games for the Stars last season.
Dallas (7-6-5) will will host Edmonton (9-8-1) Saturday at 7 p.m. ET.
