Penguins GM Jim Rutherford looking to make more moves

Ron MacLean, Nick Kypreos, Elliotte Friedman and Chris Johnston get you all caught up on the latest new in the NHL on this week's rendition of Saturday Headlines.

The Pittsburgh Penguins are in a serious slump having now lost eight of their past nine games after falling 6-4 to the Ottawa Senators Saturday.

Penguins general manager Jim Rutherford traded Carl Hagelin to the Los Angeles Kings in exchange for Tanner Pearson earlier this week and there could be more changes coming.

“His compatriots are saying there is nobody trying harder right now to make moves than Jim Rutherford,” Sportsnet’s Elliotte Friedman reported Saturday during the Headlines segment of Hockey Night in Canada.

As previously reported, forward Daniel Sprong could be one of the players Rutherford is willing to part ways with.
