Penguins sign defenceman David Warsofsky to two-year deal

The Pittsburgh Penguins have signed David Warsofsky to a two-year deal with an average annual value of $700,000.

This will be Warsofsky’s third stint with the Penguins after playing with the team for parts of the 2015-16 and 2016-17 seasons.

Drafted by the St. Louis Blues in the fourth round (95th overall) in 2008, Warsofsky has suited up for 55 career NHL games with the Boston Bruins, Penguins, New Jersey Devils and Colorado Avalanche.
