There was a royal wedding in Ottawa this past weekend, as Erik Karlsson and Melinda Currey officially tied the knot.

The happy couple, who got engaged last November with the help of a pizza, were married at The Westin in downtown Ottawa and celebrated with a reception at the National Art Gallery of Canada in Ottawa.

Senators legend Daniel Alfredsson was Karlsson’s best man, according to the Ottawa Citizen’s Don Brennan.
