The Nashville Predators have acquired forward Cole Schneider from the New York Rangers in exchange for forward Connor Brickley, the Predators announced Friday.
Schneider has recorded 25 points in 36 games for the Rangers’ AHL affiliate, the Hartford Wolfpack.
The 28-year-old has played in 465 career games at the AHL level, recording 343 points since making his debut in 2011.
Schneider has recorded one assist in six career NHL games, all with the Buffalo Sabres.
As for Brickley, he has more NHL experience on his resume having appeared in 67 NHL games since the start of the 2015-16 season, recording 17 points over that span. He has 18 points in 39 games for the AHL’s Milwaukee Admirals this season.
