Watch as Robert Bortuzzo levels Viktor Arvidsson from behind with a dangerous looking crosscheck, Arvidsson did later leave the game.

Nashville Predators winger Viktor Arvidsson will miss 4–6 weeks with a lower-body injury after being cross-checked by the St. Louis Blues’ Robert Bortuzzo on Saturday, the team announced.

Midway through the first period of the game, Bortuzzo cross-checked Arvidsson from behind, shoving him helmet-first into the net’s top bar. When Arvidsson attempted to rise, Bortuzzo knocked him down again.

Bortuzzo was suspended four games on Sunday.

Arvidsson, 26, has recorded six goals and nine assists through 22 games this season.
