Rangers bring back Moore on two-year contract

Dominic Moore is staying with the New York Rangers. The veteran forward reached a two-year deal early into the start of the NHL free agency period.

After not playing during 2012-13, Moore signed a one-year deal with the Rangers last summer. He added six goals, 12 asssists with 18 penalty minutes in 73 games. He also registered three goals and five assists during 25 post-season games.

The journeyman centre has played 603 career NHL games with the Rangers, Pittsburgh Penguins, Minnesota Wild, Toronto Maple Leafs, Buffalo Sabres, Florida Panthers, Montreal Canadiens, Tampa Bay Lightning, and San Jose Sharks.

Moore was awarded the Bill Masterton Memorial Trophy following the 2013-14 season.
