The New York Rangers will be without forward Chris Kreider on Saturday when they host the Philadelphia Flyers.

The 23-year old will be mourning the loss of his grandfather, who passed away on Friday.

Kreider has four goals and 13 points in 22 games this season.

The Rangers will recall J.T. Miller to take Kreider’s spot on the roster.

Our thoughts are with Kreider and his family.
