New York Rangers forward Rick Nash has reportedly now pulled the other side of his groin just three games after returning from a similar injury, according to the New York Post on Monday.
The 32-year-old suffered the injury during overtime of the Rangers’ 3-2 shootout win over the New Jersey Devils on Sunday.
Nash has been good for New York when healthy this year, scoring 13 goals and seven assists in 30 games.
The severity of the injury is still unknown, but the Rangers could really use their leading goal scorer on Tuesday when they visit the Pittsburgh Penguins with first place in the Eastern Conference on the line.
