Take Carolina Hurricanes deke master Jussi Jokinen. He does this move where he swings out wide right, then cuts in toward the goal. Jokinen’s body moves hard left, the goaltender follows the crest on his chest, but the puck gets quickly shifted to the Fin’s backhand and he drags the puck in the net with his long reach.
On Tuesday’s night, the Islanders’ Evgeni Nabokov became the latest victim of Jokinen’s trademark dangle.
