Report: Jets place goaltender Budaj on waivers

The Winnipeg Jets have reportedly placed newly acquired goaltender Peter Budaj on waivers.

On Sunday the Montreal Canadiens traded Budaj to the Jets in exchange for forward Eric Tangradi.

If Budaj clears waivers he will be assigned to the Jets’ AHL affiliate St. John’s IceCaps.

Forward Patrick Holland also went from the Canadiens to the Jets.
