Luongo lights up Halloween with wild costume

Caught in the headlights, Roberto Luongo celebrates Halloween as fresh venison.

Just when Roberto Luongo’s tweet frequency was trending down, the Florida Panthers goaltender threw us a (Strom)bone.

All it took was a holiday.

“This is how I feel on game days…,” Luongo captioned an Instagram photo of his Halloween costume: Luongo as a deer trapped in the headlights belonging to his wife, Gina.

This is how I feel on game days…. #happyhalloween

Great stuff. Although, the early returns on 2014’s NHL costume contest still have P.K. Subban as the winner. Fun fact: Two-thirds of @TheStrombone1’s Instagram account involve photos/videos of Luongo in full costume. The other photo is of his kid’s toothbrushes.
