Roman Polak joins Stars on one-year, $1.3 million contract

Veteran defenceman Roman Polak is joining the Dallas Stars on a one-year contract.

The deal is valued at $1.3 million.

Polak, 32, has spent the past three seasons with the Toronto Maple Leafs. Last season he had two goals, 12 points and 46 penalty minutes in 54 games.
