Polak returns to Leafs lineup vs. Ducks; Borgman loaned to Marlies

Good Show discusses the current surplus of forwards stuck in limbo between the NHL and AHL for the Toronto Maple Leafs, and how Lou Lamoriello will deal with players such as Josh Leivo, Nikita Soshnikov, Kasperi Kapanen and Matt Martin.

Roman Polak will make his return to the lineup for the Toronto Maple Leafs against the Anaheim Ducks Monday.

The 31-year-old defenceman has been sidelined since Jan. 31 with a viral infection. He’s expected to play alongside rookie Travis Dermott.

In 32 games this season, Polak has two goals, six points and 32 penalty minutes.

Andreas Borgman has been loaned to the AHL’s Toronto Marlies in a corresponding move.
