Sabres land Jacob Josefson on one-year contract

The Buffalo Sabres have signed forward Jacob Josefson to a one-year contract worth $700,000.

A native of Sweden, Josefson recorded one goal and nine assists to go along with 16 penalty minutes for the New Jersey Devils during the 2016-17 season. A seven-year NHL veteran, Josefson has totaled 60 points and 78 penalty minutes in 276 career games, all with the Devils.
