Sabres’ Rasmus Dahlin leaves game vs. Lightning after high hit

Rasmus Dahlin would head to the locker room after taking an elbow to the face from Erik Cernak.

Buffalo Sabres defenceman Rasmus Dahlin has left Monday’s game against the Tampa Bay Lightning with an undisclosed injury.

Dahlin’s last shift of the game came late in the second period and ended after a high hit from the Lightning’s Erik Cernak. Cernak did not receive a penalty for the hit.

Dahlin had no points and no shots in over 11 minutes of ice time before his injury. This season he has 16 points in 23 games.
