Senators acquire forward J.C. Beaudin from Avalanche

The Ottawa Senators have acquired forward J.C. Beaudin from the Colorado Avalanche in exchange for winger Max McCormick.

Beaudin, a third-round pick (71st overall) in the 2015 NHL Draft, will be assigned to the Senators’ affiliate in Belleville. He has 13 points in 42 AHL games for the Colorado Eagles this season.

McCormick, 26, has split the 2018-19 season between Ottawa and Belleville. The 2011 sixth-rounder has 12 points in the AHL over 20 contests and one point in the NHL in 14 games.
