Ottawa Senators goaltender Craig Anderson is honouring late general manager Bryan Murray with a new mask this season.
The 37-year-old netminder posted images of his new mask on Instagram Wednesday, which includes images of Murray within the Senators logo on both sides and the years of his life, 1942-2017.
Loving how the new mask turned out this year… @sylabrush. @sebastiengervaisphoto more pics @ http://www.anderson41.com/fresh-paint-andys-18-19-bucket-in-gorgeous/

Murray, who was a member of the Senators organization from 2004 until his death, was diagnosed with colon cancer in 2014 and died on Aug. 12, 2017 after battling the disease at the age of 74. In his time in Ottawa, Murray served as head coach — leading the Senators to a Stanley Cup Final in 2007 — and general manager, a post he held from June 2007 until stepping down in April 2016.
During his time as Senators GM, Murray acquired Anderson in a trade with the Colorado Avalanche, and Anderson has been Ottawa’s No. 1 goalie ever since.
