Senators’ Dylan DeMelo out 3-4 weeks with broken finger

Ottawa Senators defenceman Dylan DeMelo will miss the next three-to-four weeks with a broken finger, head coach D.J. Smith announced Friday.

DeMelo, 26, suffered the injury after getting hit by a shot in Wednesday’s game against Montreal Canadiens.

He has six assists in 32 games this season, his second with the Senators.

The Senators host the Columbus Blue Jackets on Saturday.
