Senators recall Drake Batherson, Filip Chlapik from AHL

Kyle Bukauskas joins Sportsnet Central to give the Ottawa Senators their unofficial mid-season report card.

The Ottawa Senators recalled forwards Drake Batherson and Filip Chlapik from AHL Belleville on Sunday as the team returns from its bye week.

Both players had been with the Senators before the bye week, and each appeared in four games with Belleville during the break.

Batherson was also scheduled to participate in the AHL All-Star festivities, which take place Sunday and Monday in Ontario, Calif.

In nine NHL games this season, Batherson has one goal and two points. He has 14 goals and 46 points in 37 AHL games.

Chlapik has two goals and five points in 23 NHL games this season, as well as five goals and 14 points in 24 AHL games.
