Senators trade Tyler Ennis to Oilers for fifth-round pick

The Ottawa Senators have traded forward Tyler Ennis to the Edmonton Oilers for a 2021 fifth-round pick, Sportsnet can confirm.

Ennis, a native of Edmonton, has 33 points in 61 games this season.

Over the course of his 11-year NHL career, the 30-year-old has collected 309 points in 604 games.

The diminutive forward — who was selected in the first round of the 2008 NHL Draft (26th overall) — spent his first eight seasons with the Buffalo Sabres, before playing with the Minnesota Wild, Toronto Maple Leafs and Senators.
