The Ottawa Senators shook up their roster on Sunday, placing veterans Alex Burrows and Johnny Oduya on waivers.
Burrows joined the Senators organization during the 2016-17 season, posting 11 points through 20 games to close out the campaign before following up with eight points through 51 tilts this season. Oduya similarly posted eight points through 51 games for the Senators in 2017-18.
Ottawa also signed centreman Jim O’Brien to a two-year, two-way deal, the club announced Sunday.
The 29-year-old — who joined the organization as a first-round draft pick (29th overall) back in 2007 – has 13 goals and a team-leading 28 points through 55 games for Belleville this season.
