Sidney Crosby gifts his all-star MVP car to U.S. veteran

Sidney Crosby is giving back to his community once again.

In honour of Veteran’s Day weekend in the United States, the Pittsburgh Penguins captain gifted a car he won to a veteran. Crosby won the Honda Passport Elite for being named MVP at the 2019 NHL All-Star Game in January.

Crosby posted four goals and eight points to lead the Metropolitan Division to victory during the all-star festivities in San Jose, Calif.

The Cole Harbour, N.S., native gave away the car on Friday before the Penguins’ official Veterans Day tribute happening during the game against the Chicago Blackhawks on Saturday.
