Tattoos are painfully expensive endeavours, so when an offer for a free one comes along, expect a lineup.
“Free Stanley Cup tattoos if we win,” House of Ink owner and tattoo artist Sean Heirigs, a massive Los Angeles Kings fan, told NHL.com. “I think there could be a few hundred people lined up out the door (if the Kings win).”
Heirigs has tweeted out that all L.A. Kings tattoos at Ink, a 15-year-old tattoo parlor in Venice, California, are 50 per cent off until the end of the playoffs. When customers get the hockey club’s logo emblazoned on their body, Heirigs might post his handiwork online (see above).
But it’s not only Kings fans who visit Heirigs’ shop.
Former Kings players Ian Laperriere and Mattias Norstrom also got inked up at his House.
“I think it was Felix Potvin who suggested we go to Venice Beach and go see those guys,” Laperriere told the site. “We walked in and they recognized us.”
