Hockey. All day, all the time.

This year’s Stanley Cup Playoffs are unique. Instead of 16 teams and four rounds of best-of-seven series, first we have to get through a qualifying round.

A total of 16 teams are playing through a best-of-five to advance to the next round, which is being called “Round 1.” However, it’s important to note that for stats purposes, this qualifying round counts as part of the Stanley Cup Playoffs.

At the same time, eight other teams are involved in a round robin. They represent the top four teams in each conference by points percentage at the time of the break, and the games they’ll play against each other will determine who heads into Round 1 as the first, second, third and fourth seeds. There is no regular season weighting involved — however they finish in the round robin is how they’ll be seeded. In case of tie, regular season points percentage will break it.

Below you can see the status of each series and the schedule of games upcoming.
